A creation that breaks the boundaries between art, science, and perception, asserting contemporary dance as a space for reflection, transformation, and collective sensitivity.
SOMA is an innovative creation by Elephant in the Black Box that invites the audience to contemplate the body as a receptacle of emotions and tensions. Through the use of sensors, reactive lighting devices, and interactive technology, the scenography and visual elements adapt in real time to the emotional responses of the audience, creating a constant dialogue between spectators and dancers.
This feedback loop transforms each performance into a unique and unrepeatable experience, in which the audience directly influences the energy, the lighting textures, and the performers’ movement. In this way, a continuous exchange is established between dancers and audience, generating an emotional and perceptual loop.
