An innovative stage adaptation of the story by the writer Núria Serra

Musician and composer Carlos Bianchini presents his new project, El Sastre del Tiempo (The Tailor of Time), a stage adaptation of the story written by Núria Serra. This show, co-produced with the Mercat de Música Viva de Vic (Vic Live Music Market), premiered at the Teatre R. Montanyà – L'Atlàntida in Vic on September 21, as part of the festival.

A fusion of literature, music, and technology

The Tailor of Time is more than just a theatrical adaptation; it's a total immersion in a live sound design workshop. Bianchini uses electronic music and electroacoustic processing to transform the words and emotions of the story into a dynamic and immersive soundscape. Each sound is carefully selected, processed, and inserted in real time, much like a tailor meticulously working with fabrics to create a unique garment.

Notable performances

On stage, in addition to composer Carlos Bianchini, is Barcelona-born actor Arnau Lobo, who performs songs written specifically for the show, adding another layer of depth and emotion to the experience. Furthermore, actor Jordi Boixaderas' voice brings the character of Time to life, contributing a unique narrative dimension. The show is directed by Mai Rojas and Raffaella Crapio (Los Escultores del Aire), who lend their artistic vision and experience in creating poetic stage environments.

Aimed at Contemporary Youth

This show has been specially designed to capture the attention and interest of today's teenagers. "The Tailor of Time" invites the audience to reflect on the use of time, raising questions about its management and impact. The narrative seeks to forge a deep connection with young audiences, offering a perspective rooted in the literary theme of Carpe Diem but with a contemporary context.
